Overview:
The IEEE PSYWSC'19 team is organizing ‘WRITING CONTEST’ for all the delegates from different Sections and Student Branches. The shortlisted essays will be selected for showcase at PSYWSC’19.
Winners will be announced and awarded at the “Closing Ceremony”.
Theme:
Themes for this writing competition are:
- • Pakistan’s Energy Crisis and Possible Solutions.
- • Societal Impact of Robotics
Eligibility:
Only the delegates attending the PSYWSC’19 can represent their IEEE Student Branch/Affinity Group/Technical Chapter and can apply for the Writing Contest.
Rules and Regulations:
- • All the Participants can take part in the writing competition.
- • All entries must be original works by the entrant, in English. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
- • TEntries may not have been previously published in professional media.
- • There should be no copied scene from other documentaries or short-films.
- • Essay must be relevant to the theme.
- • Essay can be no longer than 500 words.
- • EThe jury decision is Final.
Judgment Criteria:
- 1) Relevant to the theme / topic
- 2) Creativity in expression of thoughts
- 3) Readability and flow of the article or story
- 4) Appropriate use of grammar and words
- 5) Originality and Uniqueness
