Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology Congress (PSYWSC) is back this year
with an ever-more promising experience of the technological advancements happening around
the globe. The first episode of IEEE Pakistan Student / Young Professionals / Women In
Engineering Congress (PSYWC) was held in 2007 as IEEE PSC, organized by the IEEE
Karachi Section under Chairmanship of Om Perkash. This time PSYWSC’19 have been
decided to be held in the historical city of Sindh, Sukkur on 15-16 & 17 th of November 2019 with
the collaboration of IEEE Student branch Sukkur IBA and IEEE Karachi Section.
This is the era of 21 st century, the era of advanced technologies, It is well accepted that
knowledge and information have become new organizational and resources and assets.
Determinative of deep changes in the behaviors of the individuals, teams and organizations,
these assets have been used to reach sustainable standards of development and growth. The
emergence of a new economic paradigm is rooted in the need for the management of these new
resources. The new models of business, emerging in a global economy throughout complex
networks, have its hard nucleus in a basic activity of the modern value chain: the knowledge
management and the creation of value. Therefore, during the last decade, terms like “digital
economy”, “information society”, “knowledge society” and “knowledge economy” have arisen
as areas of interest and research both in academic and organizational milieus there is no better
theme for this year’s congress than “Technological Innovation Through Knowledge
Economy”. Its good opportunity to learn about the impact of the technology in country’s socio-
economic development, So, Don’t forget to save the dates then! See you this November, 15-16 &
17, 2019.
